Hello,

I've just loaded CHDK on my PowerShot SX100, so please bare with me if my question is too silly. I run the badpixel.lua script in order to enable the DNG format, and the script reported about 13000 bad pixels. Is it normal, or should start looking for a new camera? :-)

Thank you!

Kind regards,
Dmitri

All the script does is recover the badpixel info that Canon uses to convert your sensor's raw data into
optimal JPG's... In other words, whatever number you get, it was always there, and is not a sign that
your cam is any worse than when new, so don't worry.
