Set the shutter speed in the script to be sure you have the one you want.
Depending on the build you are using, the syntax may be different.

For AllBEst use:
set_tv96_direct X
where X is the corresponding *96 value for the shutter speed.  For 65s X=-576.

Or you could try my script:
http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/UBASIC/Scripts:_Shutter_Speed_Stack_%28AllBest_build%29

Settings:
a=3  (1/3EV sizing, doesn't really matter for constant shutter speeds)
b=6  (+6EV = 65s shutter speed)
c=0
d=X (set the desired number of shots)
e=0 (step size = 0, shutter speed will stay the same)
f=0 (if you want a start delay, set the number of seconds
g=0 (if you want a delay between shots, set the number of seconds)

If you want to do a large number of shots, it can be difficult to manually change value d (imagine trying to get to 1000 shots...), so instead set the default in the script to the number you want before installing it (@default d X)

Looks pretty cool!  My favourite part is the sun glare on the yellow dump truck at ~1:19.

I'm pretty sure it takes hours' long exposures to get those, "spinning stars" shots.

I just shot my first timelapse with the CHDK scripts today! Great fun. So much easier than other intervelometers!

What software is currently preferred for making timelapse movies? A few months ago I saw a post that recommended 'JPGVideo' (free).

well, I guess you'll have a pretty good subject for timelapse video for some time, won't you :) .
what are they building?
we've got those ugly gray apartment complexes around here as well :( . lucky for you they may get masked by a nicer building :)

well, I guess you'll have a pretty good subject for timelapse video for some time, won't you :) .
what are they building?
it seems they are building living apartments
I think it will be 9 or 16 floors at least
so it will take a lot of time to accomplish it

I will setup my cam sometimes to record theirs progress
