Hi guys,

i tried to dump my brand new Canon SX1 is. It is Firmware 2.0.1.0 (2.0.1A from 04/15/2009). With this firmware the camera won't start, if any locked card is inserted.

You have to remove the batteries and the sd lock, to start it again.

So "I hope" that the dump, I created wih CardTricks 1.44 is correct

Anyway, here's the file:

Canon PowerShot SD890 IS
Firmware Ver GM1.00F
This is different than the CHDKdumps2 drop as ixus970_sd890_100f.7z!!
Please copy to drop as version 2!
To dump: use cardtricks 1.44, use a small card (32MB tested), click NewDryOS.
Insert into camera, press play, it should look like nothing is happening, wait 30 seconds, remove battery then card, close cardtricks, put back in computer, open cardtricks, click Strings, then if you see strings close that program, go back to cardtricks and click Clean.
Name as PRIMARY_SD890IS-100F.bin or as appropriate.

The code of the two dumps is the same, so there's no need to add a 2nd one to the drop or to replace the actual one...
