been a busy bee there, huh :D wanted to do the same a while back, but i wasnt sure if the dumps i had were all properly cleaned - you took care of it, thanks. gonna add that collection to the first post.

i dont know if this is going to be useful for you guys , but im uploading all the camera firmware found on the forum to [http://firmware.jornada728.co.uk] this will help cut down on the broken links

 if you want me to upload firmware to the server  .send me a PM

Hi again, I got asked elsewhere to upload a raw dump for the firmware without any stripping..

The raw dump file is 16mb in size,  I have re-uploaded the zip file with the stripped file as it was and also the raw empty.dum file,  it is in the same location (http://www.thickey.com/chdk/canon-ixus-870-is-firmware-dump.zip).  enjoy!

I've just dumped my IXUS 40 / SD300 with Firmware Version 1.00j.

IXUS40_SD300_1.00j.bin
zSHARE - IXUS40_SD300_1.00j.bin

Could someone port the 1.00K CHDK Version to 1.00j, please?

Left the 10 MB empty.dum file inside the archive in case I was too stupid to extract the firmware properly.
