Amazon germany lists some new EOS 1000D's + 18-55mm for
360 Euro (a simple scratch on the cardboard packaging). A G9 costs about 300 used and 400 Euro new and the G10 even more, there's no excuse anymore-considering the leap in image quality and low noise performance that a dslr brings. I hope so much that one day we will see the day CHDK makes it onto a dslr.
