Currently everything is enabled in trunk, but RAM is scarce (see http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK/Camera_RAM_memory_usage) and we can't afford to spend too much for unnecessary things. But anyone can build a customized CHDK with/without the games and spend/save RAM accordingly, or beg for someone capable to build one for them.

Games are fun, I've surprisingly found myself playing them quite often :D

Maybe we could decide a total size limit in for games to occupy in autobuilds for now and then periodically vote which games to enable in each major release? From a developer's point of view that's unnecessary, but then again not much work at all and I believe most users don't build CHDK themselves, so there is some importance in what's enabled in autobuilds by default.

Perhaps one day (before we are able to load binary modules) we'll produce and distribute several parallel autobuilds or releases to select from for each camera -- at least for models low on RAM. There's more to this than just RAM savings; lack of features often equals ease of use (which could of course be just a simple option to hide advanced stuff and disable shortcuts...).

the 4 source files you must put to core directory and then apply the patch - you can disable the games in buildconf.inc
works on my s5is  - the diskboot.bin is about 15k bigger
I publish the patch because someone can  use the it to add his own features to the menu looking at it

Thx for the work, a nice gimmick for gamers.

I had to correct the file something for working with TortoiseSVN.

In the attachment there is a patch-file inclusive of the additional files. This patch is working with TortoiseSVN.

The diskboot.bin is 9k bigger by compiling with ggc4.4.0.

Somebody can explain me where I must place the files? In my camera (sx120), I have one folder named Games, but inside is only this file: sokoban.lev. Thanks.

You need to build your own copy of CHDK to use this.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

@petergovea:
Running MS Windows, you can compile your own CHDK build with the CHDK-Shell  - download the FULL version including the gcc compiler to start.

Since the SX120 sources are not available from the international CHDK SVN server, you may use the CHDK-DE SVN (the german source tree, including the SX120 1.00b).
Use the "Set SVN site..." button to switch between the two source code repositories...

This svn (CHDK-DE) has also included tetris as an option. Check the compile options of the CHDK-Shell.  ;)
