Currently everything is enabled in trunk, but RAM is scarce (see
http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK/Camera_RAM_memory_usage) and we can't afford to spend too much for unnecessary things. But anyone can build a customized CHDK with/without the games and spend/save RAM accordingly, or beg for someone capable to build one for them.
Games are fun, I've surprisingly found myself playing them quite often
.
Maybe we could decide a total size limit in for games to occupy in autobuilds for now and then periodically vote which games to enable in each major release? From a developer's point of view that's unnecessary, but then again not much work at all and I believe most users don't build CHDK themselves, so there is some importance in what's enabled in autobuilds by default.
Perhaps one day (before we are able to load binary modules) we'll produce and distribute several parallel autobuilds or releases to select from for each camera -- at least for models low on RAM. There's more to this than just RAM savings; lack of features often equals ease of use (which could of course be just a simple option to hide advanced stuff and disable shortcuts...).
