CHDK for G9 firmware v.1.00H?

CHDK for G9 firmware v.1.00H?

Hi,

I was eager to try CHDK on my G9, however I have not found a version for firmware v.1.00H.
Anyway I tried the one which is built for 1.00G - but instead of loading it, after 2 blinks of the shortcut/print button the
camera went dead. I had to remove the battery and replace the card (w/o CHDK) to make it work again...
This is usual if I am trying to use a wrong version, or I do something wrong?
Will there be a version for 1.00H sometime?

Hi guys,
first of all you have all my admiration for your smart work.
What you can do with the CHDK is really incredible!!!

I have two G9 one with the firmware version 1.00f and the other with the version 1.00h
I bought the second one because I would have loved to create a stereo work.
Unfortunately I've found out there is no chdk for 1.00h so I have two simply questions.

1) will the chdk for the g9 with 1.00h firmware be release sooner or later?
2) is there a way to control the 1.00h camera from the 1.00f with the chdk?

Please let me know when you have the time.

P.S. by the way is there any way I can help you to work on the chdk for the g9 with 1.00h firmware?

Please allow me another one... about your answer to my 1st question ... probably can you estimate how many time this can take? Can I do something to help you? (of course the first thing I have to do is that I must stop to bother you I already know this ;) )

I think you will have a hard time finding anyone willing to speculate on how long it will take to port a cam ...

The easiest way to check if any progress has been made for your cam / firmware would be

the Wiki page for G9: http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/G9

Depending on your interest & technical skills, you might want to follow the porting thread relevant to your
cam; you can find a link to it on the Wiki page above.

a word of warning: posting in porting threads without having read them is unlikely to increase your
popularity and might even delay the porting of your cam - by distracting the people working on it.
