I have an A550. I have the shutter speed override set to 1/1000 and the value factor set to 1. The camera is in manual mode and the ASA to 800.  take a picture and it uses 1/6 second shutter speed. What am  I missing?

Never mind, I figured it out. Somehow I had "Disable overrides" set to "On"
