thank you very much! There is another question. i want to buy a new IXUS Cam. Which modell would you prefer? it should be little for mobility with the cam. thanks a lot.

are there any modifications for the big CANONs like the 5D? Or is the standardfirmware good enough :)

he started with the fw update function & then powered the cam off & on again, then logically without CHDK...

@darkcobalt
see CHDK - supported Cameras & the CHDK - camera pages if you don't want to use the given informations from the german forum  >:(

now it works all fine. CHDK boots automatically. thanks.  :D

and another question. i will buy the ixus 860is cam. which sd card can i use with CHDK? in the manuel is posted that only up to 2gb are supported. is there no way to use bigger cards, especially when i shoot in RAW :)
