My camera is Canon Ixus 70. I check original firmware and downloaded CHDK firmware but I have a problem with this CHDK firmware. Accordirng to your manual I downloaded new firmware which is in *.BIN extension. But there is sentence from manual "Put your firmware files PS.FIR and DISKBOOT.BIN into the same folder as the uploader". Where are those PS. FIR and DISKBOOT.BIN considering that I downloaded only some file named "primary_sd1000_102a.bin".
Anyway I copied this "primary_sd1000_102a.bin" to my SD card but there was no additional menu or some other expected changes.
Where and what I did wrong?

You downloaded wrong file. that file is a dump of the original firmware.
For proper download locations please see the Downloads page.

But in your case there is no CHDK for IXUS 70 available yet.

Do you have CHDK already for Ixus 70? I plan to use CHDK for HDR images.
