Probably asked before, but i am new to this:

why there are no comparing of various camera models dynamic range, it is always about Megapixels and HiISO noise?

Any ideas on this, could you give any links to study?

as far as i remember, dpreview.com have some in-depth camera tests, in which they also show what dynamic range camera have. for example: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canoneos50d/page19.asp

If you do not find what you need, try the Polish secret weapon :)

(Sorry, there is no English version of this gem but the charts should be easy to read)

Look for "Zakres tonalny" (="Tonal range").
There are some free automatic Polish-English translation services - use google :)

Sure you may :)

I am from Poland obviously. I did not want to believe when my friend recommended the optyczne.pl. I thought it was a mere www.dpreview.com clone. Boy, was I wrong... If optyczne.pl was translated to English we would have a dpreview annihilator :)

nice, i'm from Poland too! :)
anyway, somewhere on the net (maybe that was on optyczne.pl site) i've even stumbled upon some site, which was claiming that dpreview is sometimes completely wrong in lens testing ;) apart from that, these two sites are great sources of detailed camera & lens information.
