Is it possible to transfer CHDK files to another disc?

I tried this with my Mac and had no luck - camera says card locked. I was hoping to retain all the menu settings I had made.

You need to describe what you are trying to do more specifically. What do you mean "another disk" ? Are you trying to copy CHDK from one SD card to another ?

What camera ?
Are you using automatic loading or the "firmware upgrade" method ?

If you just want to copy the settings, copy CCHDK.CFG from the CHDK folder in one card to the other card.

If your mac says the card you are trying to save to is locked, unlock it ;)

If it isn't actually locked, then there is something wrong with your card or reader.
