I've a SDHC 8Gb with two partitions that works fine in my SD860. But when I want save photos with usb camera to PC, isn't detected, like before.

It's possible download photos directly from camera or to necessarily I need use a card reader?

Thanks

I didn't try this, but I guess is should work if you boot from the large partition whenever you need to transfer images.

To do this, you need PS.FIR (PS.FI2 if it's a dryos cam) on the large partition. Then just do "Swap partitions" from CHDK menu and reboot. And swap partitions again when you wish to autoboot from the small partition again.

SD860 or IXUS860?

Turn off "Enable remote".

Then just do "Swap partitions" from CHDK menu and reboot.
This menu not implemented for IXUS860 yet.
