what does the threshold factor 0-255 do on the MD? is that how sensitive it is to being triggered?
if I remember correctly it is difference between previous and current values of "pixel"(square).
ie using small values at night will provide alot of false triggering due to noise.
you can experiment with it yourself
what is "compare interval (milliseconds)"?
asume we compare pictures every 100 mseconds. then MD routine will not detect slowly moving object.
ie if you need to detect quick objects use smallest possible value.
when you want to detect how something melts :-) you have to use use much bigger value
