Hi All,

I am new to this group.

I wanted to know if there is any Canon cameras having SDIO enabled hosts. I mean can we connect an SDIO card in to the SD slot of the camera. If so, I think we will be able to talk to the SDIO card connected.

For information:
There will be two types of SD cards, they are SD memory and SDIO. To operate SDIO card, the host should be SDIO aware host.

Most likely no and never will. It's up to the hardware chips inside the camera to offer this functionality and it's highly unlikely they have this.

This being said, according to Wikipedia, SDIO cards are 100% compatible with SD cards so they'll work in cameras but camera will not use the added functionality.

(personal oppinion, not a chdk official developer)
