it would be nice if some divx/xvid plugin could be installed so you could convert the movies inside the camera.
as mentioned in another topic, support for playing a more versitile range of video compression types would be nice as well.
I've tried converting a clip to mjpeg in virtual dub but no luck in getting it to work, plus I've seen that the camera somehow records information about videos such as white balance and custom colors. and needs the thm too. regular videos don't have these.

The .thm-file is needed for camera just to be able to show a picture in browse/preview mode.
