Did post_levent_to_ui("PressMovieButton") and post_levent_to_ui("UnpressMovieButton") work for you?
The A590IS doesn't have a Movie Button like that, but I haven't been able to make some of the other
buttons work either using that method. For now I just use "click/press".

Never tried.  The "video" button was what I needed and overlooked: click "video", etc.
