Low "Factory" Battery Indicator on Canon A720is when in CHDK mode

I'm just getting to know CHDK  :)  but one of the first things I notice is that the Canon low-battery indicator flashes when I've 'booted' (is that the correct phrase?) into CHDK.   (The CHDK indicator shows 97% charged, for example.)

Is this "normal"?  Is there a way to "turn off" the Canon indicator?  (It's rather distracting and annoying.)

Thanks!

Currently your best bet is to just put some CHDK OSD on top of it. It will still be annoying but it'll be overdrawn for most of the time.

The CHDK battery percentage is a voltage indicator scaled to percents, which is no good as a battery capacity gauge, really, unless you know how your batteries tend to work in your camera (or in general) from experience or otherwise. I always keep CHDK showing the actual voltage instead, but that's just my crooked preference.
