sorry, my project has taken on the name "robot camera" because i need a way to talk about it with my friends. no, there are no upright and walking robots taking pics like japanese tourists but just a camera that can adjust its exposure and continue taking pics pretty much forever.
this is the first satisfying results. still needs more work but the end is in sight. (it hasn't always been)
the video shows the exposure setting working well until morning. i think i can fix that by reading up on the sunsetF14 script and understanding the settings better.
the bottom image is from midnight in so little light that you'd see almost nothing. its a 15 second exposure at 400 ISO. I would prefer a 60s image at 100 ISO.
the script ran for nearly 24 hours to create the movie at top. it has not crashed since i switched to shoot() from press("shoot_full")
