I have an SD550. Of course, it's not SDHC compatible. I have an 8GB card and tried to make 2 partitions to get CHDK working, but it didn't work. I saw some posts saying to make a 2MB FAT16 partition to hold CHDK and the rest can be fat32 for pictures. I did that, but every time I insert my card I get the message that says "Memory Card Error". So, the gist of this post is, is there a way to use cards >2GB on the SD550, or am I just chasing my tail?

SDHC is a different interface. If your camera doesn't support SDHC, it will not work, regardless of formatting.

Is this camera the same as the Digital IXUS750 ? In that case, it is in the autobuild.

Edit: Sorry, i read "chdk-compatible" not "sdhc-compatible"  :haha
