I have a Canon S3 IS. Is it possible to shoot 3:2 image rather than 4:3 with CHDK?

But it is not automatically cropped down, right? It is just making sure that your subject is inside the 3:2 ratio.

yes, thats what it does. it still helps you composing the image. we havent found another way to crop an image yet. but it can easily be done on the computer once ur home. so the grids are the only possible solution right now. and i might add that it is a very good solution - no other camera on the market has this feature.
