Documentation for New CHDK Features?

Recently  downloaded CHDK-SVN autobuild 0.9.7 revision 725 complete zip- and the AllBest PDF Manual.

Would especially like to use DNG in camera conversion feature but have been unable to find docs how to do this.

Checked my CHDK for A570IS and found under RAW parameters section:
DNG format but when enabled got error "cannot load CHDK/badpixel.bin please run CHDK/Scripts/Test/badpixel.Lua"  Checked the Scripts section but did not find it and I have the complete download.

Am interested in suggestions as to what is needed for in camera DNG shooting.

The badpixel.lua script is included in the complete dl package, you have it already on your cam...
To enable DNG support, follow my little guidance: Enable DNG support .

Hi fe50,

Thanks for the link and tip.  Found out that my A570IS is slightly different but was able to finally find "BADPIXEL.LUA"

My problem starts when "select "BADPIXEL.LUA", press FUNC/SET- start the script with the SHUTTER !
- wait until you see "press SET to save....."   

When press shutter the A570IS only takes photo.

Steve,
start the script after you have loaded it (with the FUNC/SET button in the selection box) with the SHUTTER button WHILE you are in <Alt> mode !

SHUTTER in <Alt mode> starts the currently loaded script
SHUTTER outside <Alt mode> takes a picture ("normal" behaviour)

Thanks for your patience!

Found after much searching that I did not understand what badpixel.lua script really does. "Just run the script: it automatically takes 2 pictures, calculates the badpixel data and then it creates the badpixel.bin file. This procedure takes ~ 20-30 s of time, at the end of the process you can save the file with the SET button. " http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Badpixel_removal
