Hi,

I'm considering buying a Canon SD1000 just for the sake of putting CHDK on it, but I have a question.
Does anyone know if CHDK remembers your settings when you turn off the camera?
If not, is there a way to set it so it always started up with my desired settings?
Could I, for example, have the camera start up in Raw mode with hyperfocal distance set?

Also hi,
Yes, your settings are stored to sd-card.
To set hyperfocal distance at startup, you can make a script and let it autostart.
