I installed firmware 1.00f version my canon a620.when finished installation I try to power on but it did not open.
I take sd card and batteries out and wait 30 minutes but problem still running.What can I do.is Camera dead ?
1) Are you sure you have the
battery door closed correctly ?
--> Check the little switch in the door mechanism
2) Can you start the camera
without a memory card ?
Did you get any error messages while updating, fast blinking lights or sounds / noise ?
You can also try to remove the little
backup battery (a small coin cell, normally somewhere near / in the battery bay) for some hours, maybe that helps.
