OSD...it's gone! Not showing anymore on Powershot A630

OSD...it's gone! Not showing anymore on Powershot A630

On the previous version of the Allbest build I remember everything
was working fine on my A630, but now after the update to the latest
version for some reason the OSD is not showing anymore, I even tried
completely removing the CHDK files from the SD card, (firmware and folders)
and uploading again the latest Allbest firmware to the card, but still the OSD
isn't shown, I can see it only when editing the OSD layout, what's wrong?

Zebra is off, everything is set to default parameters since I deleted
all the CHDK folders before as also the config file.
Using the Grand build still shows the display but sadly doesn't have
the same cool new features! :-(

P.S. I'm sorry I've posted this for error on the wrong section before.

Yes, I too noticed this long back in late december last year itself. (Have a Powershot A630)
The OSD just doesn't come back on. And yes, it's true that I too had to use the Layout Editor to check Battery status :|

Please help to correct this bug. I don't wanna shift to other CHDK builds. AllBest's the Best of all! :)

Apparently the version hosted on http://malbe.nm.ru/chdk/ is bugged, taking the same version from the ewavr website made it work!
I was using the 100c-16 version already!

I'm very sorry for the double posting but there was some connection problem while hitting the post button!
