Hi everyone,

I recently came across CHDK and really love it.

I loaded the build a590-101b-0.9.8-757-full onto my A590 IS and have spent hours/days playing with the options. But I have found that after a while the time it takes to write an image to the card (raw or jpg) is getting longer. It takes 15 - 20 seconds to write to the card. (I am using a 4gig class 6 SD card with fresh batteries).

I reformated the card and reloaded CHDK and every thing worked fine but then after about a 100 images it slowed down again. If I disable CHDK (by unlocking the card) the write speed becomes normal (a few seconds) if I re-enable CHDK the write speed slows down again.

I hope someone can help me with this as I really love CHDK.

vine of .raw.
Disable raw & you will see difference
