Hi, do anyone know if the Canon a590 can take the most of a SDHC class 6 memory in terms of writing speed?

(I mean, can the camera processor transfer data up to the class 6 speed?, or is there some kind of camera bus limitation that will slow down the memory transfer rate below what class 6 memories have to offer?)

Hi, thank you for your help, please correct me if I'm wrong: it seems that de a590 can handle much more than a class 6 (40x, 6M/s) memory. Right?

Yes, e.g. with a Sandisk Extreme III (fat16), 2GB:    up to 11098 kb = ~10.8 MB per second (RAW writing)...
