When I rotate my A650's LCD screen out and have it face the front, then all the CHDK stuff is backwards, as you can see in the attached photo.  The regular Canon stuff is still normal, though.

This problem only happens when the LCD is rotated out and facing the front.  It does not happen if the LCD is rotated out and facing the back.  It also doesn't happen if the LCD is not rotated out.

Hi slchdk,

change the "Reverse Disp." setting in the Canon menu to OFF...

Thanks!  Wonder what that setting really does, because it doesn't seem to have an effect on the regular Canon icons/text.

It mirrors the picture (makes it backwards (as it would be seen in a mirror)) when its on and the screen is flipped outward. Its hard to explain but if you see it you'll instantly get it.
