Hello, I'm trying to use the Shutter Speed Override provided by CHDK in my A590 but I can't make it work:

I go to the Extra Photo Operation Menu and set the Override Shutter Speed to 32, then I go back to the main menu and finally I try to take a shot but the override don't work. I tried it in P, M, Tv and Auto modes.

I'm using a590-101b-0.9.8-758-full.zip autobuild and my camera has a 1.01B firmware.

Well, I hope someone can give me a little help with this :-)

You will also have to enable the shutter override, not just setting the value

Thank you for your (very) quick reply, I can't find the Enable Shutter Speed Override settings, here is what I see in the Extra Photo Operations menu:

Disable Overrides [Disable]
--Include Autoiso & Braqueting [ ]
Override shutter speed [32]
--Value factor [Off]
Shutter speed enum type [Ev Step]
Override aperture [off]
...

There is a Override aperture set, there is no Override shutter speed. Is that set in other menu?

...enable the Override value (32s) by setting a factor, e.g. 1
