Hi,

 Instead of acquiring a GigaPan (http://gigapan.org/index.php) device I'd fancy using my Canon Powershot G9 with CHDK, a recently purchased Phidget servo kit (http://www.phidgets.com/products.php?category=4&product_id=2010) and a pan-tilt system from ServoCity (http://www.servocity.com/html/spt200_pan___tilt_system.html) to create panorama photos.

 Is there anyone to enable CHDK to command PhidgetServo controller via USB? (http://www.phidgets.com/products.php?product_id=1061)

Have a look here:

You should be able to adapt the software and hardware for servo motors.
