sd1000 cannot get CHDK to load... no firm update menu

i am trying to use 101b CHDK on my SD1000 with serial starting with 4628...

I had this working before but now I cannot get it to work.. I started with a freshly formatted card, put all the files from the archive on it, but the firm update menu does not show up..

Any ideas.
