Hi guys, I would like to start in the photography world, I have no money for an EOS yet and I am also looking to take pictures underwater.

Do you guys have any recommendation for a camera $275 and under, I also need to buy the underwater case and for high end models it gets to be very expensive. For example the underwater case for the S5  is $600 while a case for the A570 is $150.


I was thinking about spending $350 maximum in the camera  + case.

The idea is to take raw pictures underwater and take some good shots on the ground.

how deep do you plan to go underwater? if less than 3 meters, then i think you can get simple waterproof camera for a reasonable price...

10 feet (3 meters) is not enough. In a regular snorkeling dive I get up to 7 meters down. Scuba diving I've been up to 23 meters.

Hey Guys, a EOS T1i for 350 bucks plus lenses for 150 is very good. But 1500 for a case is way too crazy.
What do you guys recommend ?
