Hi,

I took my prototype panorama robot head on a walking trip to Snowdonia National Park  (North Wales)  Thanks David for your SDM firmware enabling usb shutter trigerring.

The first result can be found at:

http://www.wizfamily.co.uk/images/panograph/morfa5/morfa5.html

You'll need Microsoft HDView plugin to view

I'll post more panarama's as well as an instructable on how to build the rig in a day or two  (I'm just back from a long drive)

That will be very interesting, I will look at it shortly .. I am struggling to solve a programming problem.

Yesterday was pretty rough on Snowdonia, helicopters had to rescue a number of people, presumably you were not one of them  :)

EDIT:

Just tried and the view is displayed for just a fraction of a second before returning to Microsoft information.

No thankfully,  drove back in some pretty wet conditions,  however,  probably had the sunniest week in north Wales on record before that :)

Try firefox,  others don't seem to work for me

Hmm,

Don't think the plugin is working too well for ie.  Try installing the activex addin in ie by visiting

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25283719/

Once installed,  try my link again

I never use IE.

The linked page behaves exactly the same way.

I have Firefox 3.0.5

The Microsoft link only mentions Firefox 2.0.

Surely this will work with Firefox without doing all that ?

I just tried it and it works well with my version of Firefox:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; nl; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042316 Firefox/3.0.10

In that case, I have no idea.

I can view the panoramas here

I don't either.  I was using Firefox 3.0.7 which upgraded to 3.0.10 in the background. The firefox plugin is called HD View 3.2.0.0 for Mozilla.  HD view works in both.

Javascript must be enabled / allowed for HD View...
