Canon SX10 IS ISO override.

I've done some searching on this forum for the info on this and haven't found it, So I'm going to ask here. If it's been answered please forgive me, and point me in the right direction.

I've been using the ISO override for a while now, to get ISO of 10. But I've started noticing that it doesn't really seem to be going to ISO 10. The camera says ISO 10 on the screen, and it even shows up on the Exif data as being ISO 10. When I have this setting, I also notice that the camera has a harder time auto-focusing then under normal use (no chdk on the SD card).

Is there something I'm missing? Please help or enlighten me. If you need images I'll post two one at 80 and the other at 10.

I wouldn't expect to to go down to ISO 10. Just because you can tell the camera to do 10 doesn't mean it will actually do it.

flenser did nice analysis for a570 http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php/topic,3373.0.html

If you want to test this, I would strongly suggest comparing raw pixel values.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

Thanks reyalp. That post is very informative and very in depth. Seems like I have a lot of work to do to find the lowest possible ISO setting I can get.
