You can use dng4ps2 to process raw files.

I've started porting the A430 source to the current trunk and so far the results have been excellent! Now saving dng files and running badpixels.lua works and doesn't crash the camera! If you find any problems, please let me know.

I'll clean up the code and see if it could be merged to the trunk.

Here's the binaries

guys, you are geniuses! :D

...but there are some things that don't work for me:
- there are issues with zoom in video recording when digital zoom is on - i can't decrease optical zoom when digital has already been used.
- mute during zooming crashes camera.
- video recording with subject distance override sometimes crashes (but is working now!))
- tv override is not working when LCD is off.
- when taking long exposure photos in continuous mode red led and orange led stop blinking... This is misleading because it looks like the camera stopped working, while it works correctly.
- subject distance override isn't working when ND filter is on (it's not working correctly with macro mode as well, but this is normal i guess...)
- ISO override works nice, but it's correct only when camera iso is set to 64. I think this is actually a multiplier, so the real iso is calculated from this equation: RealISO=CameraISO*(ChdkISO/64)
- this sokoban is damn hard version... ;p

Everything else works just brilliant, you are doing great job.
May the force be with you ;)

PS: sorry for my English...

Thanks for the bug report! This version should fix the mute with zoom problem. For the rest of the bugs I am still investigating them. I cannot help if you suck with sokoban ;)

This one was compiled with GCC 4.5.1.

I can't download the binaries from

It always says:
"No servers are available with the requested data on them"

Before I went to India for a business trip I updated to the latest beta version.
What I experienced is a problem with the movie function. As soon as you finish (stop) recording a movie, the display goes black, camera doesn't respond except for switching it off and the film won't be saved.
(Movie function works OK if CHDK is disabled via SD Card lock switch.)

Is this a known issue?

Wishing you a merry Christmas,

Udo
