I have a Canon S5-IS with CHDK installed.  It's working great, and I love it.  You can normally start this camera in Camera Mode, or Review Mode.  However after installing CHDK, it will always start in Review Mode, even if I pus the switch towards the camera direction.  Is there a way to change this behavior?  I would like it to start in Camera Mode from the start if I push the switch in that direction.

Try holding the switch in that direction a little longer than normal.

Thanks for the tip.  Yes that works as well as pushing the switch to Camera twice.  It's not normally necessary to do these extra actions (without CHDK).  Is  this something that I'm just going to have to live with?  Not a big deal, but I'm just curious why it is the way it is.  Thanks again!

Because it takes time to load and start CHDK. It doesn't know which button you started with.
