Hi. Sorry I can too litle speak English, but I'm Czech  :)

Hi, I've got "Canon SX10" firmware ver. 1.03A and I would like to ask.... Can run previous version of firmware on this model or  will you plan CHDK for this version. Thanks.

Here is link for firmware GM1.03A:
I dont know that it is really correct firmware because I found it on deutsch site:

Thanks for your answer.

No, 103A needs a new port.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

The 1.03a dump is 100% identical with the 1.02b; although the ver.req method shows

   Powershot SX10 IS
   P-ID 318D PALD
   Firmware Ver. GM 1.03A

on this camera, we have

   00068830   00068830      0   Jan  9 2009
   0006883C   0006883C      0   15:10:11
   00068848   00068848      0   Firmware Version 1.02
   00068868   00068868      0   Firmware Ver GM1.02B

in the dump...that's why i did not add the 1.03a dump to the dump repository.

That's odd, because there are several reports that the 102B port doesn't work on 103A ???

edit:
Could the dump be from the wrong camera ? The GM1.03A in the display most come from ROM somewhere.

Yes, until now the fw Version string in the dump was always the same as reported by the ver.req method...

To be sure a 1.03A user should dump this fw again...

This dump looks good ! (so the old one from the german forum wasn't correct...)
Apr 16 2009
0006883C   0006883C      0   09:16:03
00068848   00068848      0   Firmware Version 1.03
00068868   00068868      0   Firmware Ver GM1.03A

...added to the dump repository & updated the wikia...

The 1.03A is very similar to the 1.02b, all addresses are shifted for 14 bytes from proc UI_StrobeCon_Start on...

SX10 (1.03a) & CHDK newbie, wondering how long I should expect the 1.03a port to take. Months? Weeks? Keep up the good work :-)

There is no schedule. Could be tomorrow, could be never.
