Can i use scripting to print information on the photo thats being taken at intervals, such as time and battery level?

Im a newbie to photography so go easy on me please :)

You can't do this with script. However, most of that information is already in the exif data in the jpeg or DNG.

You can log additional information to a separate file if you want, either using http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK/MoreBest#print_screen (ubasic or lua) or file io (lua only).
