Hi -.^

Since a few time I'm using CHDK, so I decided to read doc' etc. to see how it's work and to learn how use it.

But for me, simple user & photographer, I found what the French GUI version in the camera is a bit hard to understand (ie. what this param's doing||mean..?), I found some parts not translated and others what not really means what it do.
So, I cook my own version of the language file ^.^

Some parts was not easy to translate or to find simple/friendly words, we have to take in consideration the maximum string length, and some parts cannot be translated (in params' box, I think we need to compile a special French version to do that).

Plus, in most of times, UK language is better cause it's shorter than French language to say the same thing, and French is.. Complicated... -.-
The better way I found is to do not use symbols to get the maximum space.

I think it can be useful for some French users (I hope there's someones ^.^) but I have no ideas how to process to share this language version with community, in the right rules.

You can add a bug for it in the bug tracker and attach it to that. A patch would be preferred.

All right, it's done.
I bypassed new registration 'cause I didn't want to change my name (already in the DB).

Edit: I spoke too quickly; the attach file function does not work. I get the an error: "APPLICATION ERROR #504"

I put the new corrected file in a note.
Have I to set the status to 'resolved' myself or I have to wait for approbation?
