Hi Guys,

Here's another program that will probably end up in my own build when I get the menu system figured out.
It's called Fractal Universe, and was originally written for the Sony Playstation Portable, then ported
straight to Canon Digital Cameras with the CHDK.

Fractal Universe - Sony Playstation Portable Version :

Fractal Universe - Canon Digital Camera Version (256 colours) :

Fractal render is surprisingly fast (although the YouTube demo video is running at 5x speed).
The user can use left, right, up, and down directions to move the virtual viewing window,
and the Set and Menu buttons to zoom in and out.

Fractal Universe for Canon Digital Cameras

Cheers, Art.
If not actually, then potentially.

Any idea how he got graphics into CHDK? - Assume via LUA and a graphics library?

No, it would be in the C code. We already use the frame buffer to draw menus, OSDs etc, so "all" he has to do is port the code.
Don't forget what the H stands for.
