Hi Folks,

there are two current issues affecting all members:

a) attachments arent unlocked yet
b) the PM system seems to be buggy. yesterday i was pming someone, but i got the reply from someone else. and i definitly wrote the right person, in my outbox is the correct nickname. this is a serious flaw.

will send acseven a note immediately.

Hi,

Thanks for the heads up.

I've turned on attachments, 384kb max size per post/per file, max 2 per post.

As for the PM system, I have to check that out...

about the pm "glitch": well, it was my mistake. actually a funny one. yesterday i wrote something in public. later i wrote the same thing in a pm to someone. shortly after that, someone else wrote me a pm, quoting the stuff i said in public and asking me about it. i just thought the 2nd person got the pm that i sent to the 1st person. thats all. my bad.
on the other hand, i wouldnt have informed acseven about the attachments, so the bottomline is: much ado about (almost) nothing :D

edit: unstickified. though perhaps i should stickify it as a reminder of my own stupidity ;)

It would be nice if the attachment size allowed a full build to be attached.  This is a bit over 700k atm.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

Since attaches are typically used to exchange info between thread followers, can't the forum be made
to auto delete them after - say - 14 days or whatever period seems appropiate?
With the space gained, the max size could then be upped.

I'd find that quite disastrous (then we couldn't pass on patches and scripts in attachments, really), unless it's an option you can choose to select for that particular attachment (useful for temporary test builds and the like.

I missed this request, my bad. Attachments are now at 1024 kb
