first of all, is there a way, perhaps even if I have to compile it from source, that I can change the menu colors and stuff? I dont remember what the default colors are, all I know is that I've been using one I found ages ago, that has a red and black color scheme for the menus and whatnot. I'd -love- to make these green!

Hi kronflux.
It's easy to change menu colors, go to page 34 of Quick Start User Guide, (Main Menu>Visual Settings),
There's illustrations of different color backgrounds, text, cursor.
