Time Lapse photos - what software do you use to combine?

Hi,

I just made my first time lapse photos, big thanks to the CHDK team of developers and contributors.

Now, the next step :) Any recommended software I can use to combine them? I just want to upload them to my flickr account :)

I tried that, but on win7 virtualdub doesn't see extra codecs :(  Made my first timelapse in linux box, but then windoze users couldn't see it until they installed VLC.

Other methods?  Win or linux okay.

I never checked my virtualdub if it had that option. I usually use it to convert to a video to another format. :)  I'll check it out when I get home

it's not an option, it's just there, you don't have to do anything, just open the first image of the sequence, and virtualdub loads rest.

and install some decent codec pack ;)

and after you're done, upload to vimeo or youtube or whatever.

Believe it or not, Windows Movie Maker will also do image sequences.

Barret, could you tell me what codecs and container you use to upload to Vimeo, and what you use to create them?  Also, is "Barret" what they call a "channel" on Vimeo?

I've done a timelapse of an artist painting a canvas, and it looks like I'll be doing a number of them.  It appears Vimeo is a good place to host them, so I'm interested in what the best formats would be.

in vimeo help section i have found that best codec would be H.264 for video and AAC for audio (if any).
anyway, i am not fully satisfied with video quality of vimeo. it's far better than youtube, but with smooth elements like clouds, it doesn't look excellent. i have tried this with many setting with no luck so far. overall, vimeo is a great and simple video hosting site :)

as for the name of channel: i think it is written there, because that's my login name.

maybe some of you know best of the best video hosting site and video codec pair to achieve great movie quality?
