recommend an intervalometer script please?

Hi all -I've been using CHDK for about a year with my A650.  I love it!   Up until now all I've been using it for is RAW.  Yesterday my wife brought home an awesome set of gladiola shoots and asked if I could take a slow mo camera series of the flowers opening up.  I searched all the scripts and the comments about them -- but they all seem geared towards shorter time duration/faster frame rates than what I want.

Here's my info:
Canon a650 using chdk a650-100d-0.9.6-707-full.zip.   I do have an external A/C adapter so i can keep the camera powered without worrying about batteries.   What I'd like to do is just set it on a tripod on Auto mode (Yes, allow flash/auto focus, etc. -- I'm not worried about making uniform exposures) - push the shoot button and let it fire off a shot once per hour for 24-48 hours.

Wondering if you experienced users could recommend which script I should use for this (if any) and any suggested parameters, etc.
Much appreciated in advance!!

standard intervalometer script should do the job... even without CHDK you can take up to 100 photos in intervals of one minute or longer i think.

The built-in functionality of the A650 will allow a timer maximum of 10 shots at 30 seconds apart.

I need an hour apart and at least 24-48 shots - so I'll need to use a script.  I don't see a script in the "completed and working scripts" that's "standard" script.  All of them seem geared towards long or short exposure, focus on infinity, etc.   Can you tell me (or link) the actual script you're referring to?  Remember, I'm just after "auto" mode where it will auto-focus/auto expose and fire flash if needed.  Truly just a point&shoot auto mode for 24 - 48 shots 1 hour apart.

Thanks - I just realized there are a bunch of scripts over on the chdk wiki that have been tried and tested/completed and this is one of them.  That wiki sure is difficult to filter through since it still has all the old info before merging the various builds.  I'll give this a try on my a650 right away and report back.

The standard ultra intervalometer worked like a champ on my A650.   I couldn't find my A/C adapter so just left it running on a fully charged set of batteries overnight (10 hours, 10 shots WITH flash because it was dark).  Batteries were at 30% this morning and I had 10 good exposures ( showing my slowly dying plant in its death throes ;-)   That's not bad for using flash AND having to use the AF flashlight.  I could at least have set mf to avoid the AF flashlight but that probably didn't drain the batteries much compared to the flash itself.

Appreciate the help!

I'm a developer and haven't used basic since the late 80's/early 90's -- but now I'm gonna have to play because this really IS FUN!  Now I have to try out the fast md scripts and see if I can get some good lightning here in Chicago - unfortunately (Not) we haven't had any good storms in the distance in months.
