Download: SDM_1.81_SX10_101a_2.zip.

If you really have used that version it is impossible to get the menu headings that you report.
Your DISKBOOT.BIN files have been renumbered by Windows because you have downloaded or unzipped to a folder already containing a file with the same name.

Create a new folder, unzip the file into it.
Delete ALL files from your camera card and copy DISKBOOT.BIN from the new folder.

Boot your camera.

David, I Deleted ALL files from me camera card and copied  DISKBOOT.BIN from the new folder.  I did it.  Copied the DISKBOOT.BIN to the card.  Nothing worked.  In order to work, CHDK I need that on the card.  I carried the CHDK back to the card and to insure that it is the you sent, I downloaded the software directly to the card.   It has the same menu.  What am I looking to see with the .bin you sent?  I can't do anything else.  The properties on the card and the folder show todays date, so I feel that the .BIN I have on the card and folder in my computer are today's download. I am sorry but I don't know what else to do.  You have been great with this.
I  just had a thought, if you send it again, the .bin again, change the name to anything else, I will change it back to DISKBOOT.BIN, then we will know that the right one is in.

First of all, I know this works with the SX10IS.
Someone in charge of a research department of a famous optical company is using it with a USB switch.
So, we have to find-out why it is not working on your camera.

I have just finished SDM 1.81 so I will upload it and make a note of certain information.
After you download and unzip the file I will ask you for that information.
Then, we will take it from there.

I will post the link in a few minutes.

After unzipping the file, right-click on it and select Properties.

Tell me the following :

Size on disk in bytes
Time created.
