 Hello.
When I visit the German forum,
http://www.wirklemms.de/chdk/forum/index.php
http://www.wirklemms.de/chdk/forum/viewforum.php?f=7&sid=dc1739eb1fe6fafeb57cfe4a32de888a
and browse with an online translator, like foxlingo, the translations are very very poor But,,
, I get the impression they have a great collection of scripts and documentation.
Can any of our German speakers confirm or deny this impression??
 Thanks,
 Don

 Thanks,
I had already joined the forum so that I could download scripts for my cameras.
The online translators are good enough to let me see which scripts go to which cameras.
I have a collection of cameras 610 640 s3 and a570,,lol
I have used notepad to replace the german words with english words,,, at least on the adjustable parameters of the script.
It is not very difficult to get an accurate  translation for just a few single  words.
BUT,an accurate  translation for a web page is!

""Update 28.06.09 guide how the fuzzy focus at the "Additional Consideration" can intercept.""for example

I still have no idea what the sevenup script and its several variations do.
Now that I know the scripts are good,,, I'll dig deeper.

I still have no idea what the sevenup script and its several variations do.
SevenUp is a kind of universal interval script, some of the features:
- single image / interval
- timer function
- shows the remaining time
- powersaving (disable LCD)
- image settings (compression, size)
- zoom
- AF lock
- controlled script interruption (card space or remeining batt)
- USB remote support

SevenupH (H=Hyp) (for A610-A650) is a variant for using LCD-off with the MF, to restore the (Hyperfocal) distance (when you disable the LCD, MF also gets disabled...)

7upLight is a smaller (Light) variant of SevenUp without start timer, USB remote & some menu items - it's designed for easier handling, e.g. when the camera is mounted on a bicycle.
