You're right, my firmware version is ''Firmware Ver GM2.01A'', so that means that I have to use ''sx1-201a-0.9.8-794-full_BETA''?
Yes.
The CHDK package filename scheme is like this:
s2is-100e-0.9.8-780-full.zip
| | | | |
| | | | +-- package type, full means: complete package incl. lang files, fonts etc.
| | | +------ SVN trunk version, the development build number (automatically set)
| | +----------- CHDK version number (manually set)
| +---------------- firmware version
+--------------------- camera modelI also saw that SDM is having on the list only 200h and if SDM is not supporting 201a with what software can I install it on memory card?
To prepare your SD card you can use the SDM installer (sdminste.exe) from the "common_files.zip" package from the SDM homepage.
a) Partition your card, format the first (small) partition, make this small partition CHDK-bootable;
b) unzip all files from the 'full' CHKD package ("sx1-201a-0.9.8-794-full_BETA") to the root of this partition
c) then swap the partitions and format the 2nd (big) one,
d) unzip all files from the 'full' CHKD also to the root of this big partition
e) swap the partitions again, lock the card
...don't forget: store additional files (e.g. grids, scripts, text files...) always on the "big" partition, this is also the partition with the CHDK config file.
