Smartkiller,
On the zoom,
The source, in dev-svn does not include ihar's fixes yet, so we still have sporadic zoom.
The mute, I don't know if this is possible, I can't find a "mic on" mic off" function.
If we can find it, can we use a menu option to make it user defined.
Sometimes any sound is better than no sound.
OldGit

That is ok ("mic on" mic off" function).

We have to many changes in the Original Source made, so the port is not ready.
Must the Porting better in the Platform directory and minimal changes as the Trunk?

Our changes should be limited to camera.h ? And the rest in Platform 200SX?

Is that a clean Port?

@Haf  Danke.

Zoom is not working, becose platform\main.c has wrong fl_tbl.
According to current version, camera has only 8 zoom points...

Smartkiller,
Any changes to the "core" code need to be checked VERY carefully, I don't think @reyalp is saying we can not change things, he is saying that he needs to fully understand and agree with those changes.

.......  I'm not very happy with the whole thing right now.
Sorry to hear that, is there anything I can do to help ?.

Can you confirm that the values of propcase 223 match what's on the wiki ? (this the timer mode) If you can describe how the "custom timer" mode works, that might be helpful too since my camera doesn't have that.
edit: never mind describing, I read the manual.

If someone with one of the other digic III/IV cameras can describe how 102 interacts with the timer setting that would also be helpful.  The wiki says 3 is timers (with 2 apparently not used). Does this mean it is 3 any time any timer mode is selected ?

Please update the wiki to note any differences that apply to your camera http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Propertycase
Hallo
I have added the Wiki notes for the 200 SX. (On SX 200 IS 0,1,2,3,4=Off, 2 Second, Custom, Face Detection )

ADumb,
NO, it IS working but is sporadic.
The 8 points in the table are used as reference points.
This will need to be fixed, but right now we need to get the info requested by @reyalp and allow the port to go forward.
We can fix the bugs later.

Sometimes you have to change things in the core, that's fine, but just adding #ifdef mycamera and copy pasting some slightly different code is the wrong way to do it. Imagine if every camera did that ? It's a huge mess already. Taking the time to figure out how to do it in a maintainable way is better, even if it ends up being more changes.

When you use custom timer with more than one shot, is there a propcase that holds the number of shots ?

On the sx200is, does 102 change at all when you use timer ?

edit:
One more question, does the canon firmware on this camera have it's own bracketing ? I don't see it in the manual, but CAM_BRACKETING is set.

@reyalp,
I just checked all shooting modes for prop 102,
All modes EXCEPT Movie, Easy, Auto and under SCR (Scene) the panoramic stich (left and right) all show 1
All the exceptions show 0
When the timer (2 sec, 10 sec, face or custom) is selected all modes that normally show 1 change to 0.

I'll check the other stuff and let you know.

I'm confused. Does 102 change when you change the drive mode in the func menu ?

@reyalp,
the canon software doe NOT have bracketing, that def is wrong.

I can't find a prop that shows number of shoots to take, I will check for number taken but my battery is running out, so it will be a bit later.

102 only changes from 0 to 1 or back when you select the modes (edit : or when timer is selected / de-selected).
Am I misunderstanding what you want ?.
