adding script for interval shooting

Hi, I am a completely newbie using CHDK and I am very glad how it can pimp my PS 570IS with so many new features. One of it is the possibility to do interval shooting for timelapse by using a script. I have found many posts about that issue, but none how to add the desired script to my camera. I have seen that the scipts are ".lua" files, so I am asking me, if I might need some extra tools to convert the scipts to that format. Could somebody explain how to do this ?

Thanks :)

save the script as a text file,  called "name.lua" (for example, "interval.lua")
copy it in the card, in the folder CHDK\SCRIPTS
in the camera, open CHDK, "Load script" etc.
